Tanya McGahey

Occupational Therapist

Tanya joined the CAINT Therapy Team as an Occupational Therapist last year. Tanya works between the Naas and Carlow Clinics.

Tanya graduated with an Honours Degree from Trinity College Dublin. She is a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI) and she is also registered with the Regulating Health and Social Care Professional Body (CORU).

Tanya has experience working with children from 0-18 years old with motor difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, social emotional difficulties and handwriting difficulties. She currently provides assessment and intervention in these areas. Tanya has experience assessing and working with children with developmental co-ordination disorder/dyspraxia, autism spectrum disorder and global developmental delays.

Tanya works closely with the multi-disciplinary team in CAINT to ensure best possible outcomes for clients. Tanya also liaises closely with families and schools to provide programmes and sensory diets.
